What do you know about the Lamborghini? The sound right? or the design which usually look unique and look like a bull charging to fight. Well its not Lambo’s fault its because its destined to rule the road and overpower all others. The beautifully crafter made history for itself by making the iconic Lamborghini which the world had come to reckon with today.

At every young adult’s mind, many wishes to own or drive a Lambo which seems very cute and sweet. But since its an expensive automobile which isnt really that easy for the pocket to afford, this attempts has made many to keep hoping but refusing to forgo the ambition.

So here we are again with a Lamborghini. Lets ask ourselves…what is even a Lamborghini? When i actually narrated the story of my mentor to my uncle few years back, he was like “So Lamborghini was a name?” i just told him stories of Ferruccio Lamborghini the dream realiser,

Well to make things less complex for all, Lamborghini is actually an Italian automaker that sits in Sant’ Agata Bolognese and manufactures the iconic vehicle.

Brief History:

In the year 1963, Ferruccio Lamborghini decided to found his very own automobile company after he bought a Ferrari GT250 which he thought was  made with inferior clutches. When he purchased the vehicle since his love for luxury cars after his ventures to other industrial businesses earlier, he always had to repair his Ferrari’s clutches each time which was therefore getting him “Pissed off” and so he thought about making the best for himself that he would actually have total control over this therefore led to the development of the automobile company which he named after himself.

Acquirements
Lamborghini grew rapidly during its first ten years, but sales plunged in the wake of the 1973 worldwide financial downturn and the oil crisis . Ferruccio Lamborghini sold ownership of the company to Georges-Henri Rossetti and
René Leimer and retired in 1974. The company went bankrupt in 1978, and was placed in the
receivership of brothers Jean-Claude and Patrick Mimran in 1980. The Mimrans purchased the company out of receivership by 1984 and invested heavily in the company’s expansion. Under the Mimrans’ management, Lamborghini’s model line was expanded from the Countach to include the Jalpa sports car and the LM002
high performance off-road vehicle. The Mimrans sold Lamborghini to the Chrysler
Corporation in 1987. After replacing the Countach with the Diablo and discontinuing the Jalpa and the LM002, Chrysler sold Lamborghini to Malaysian investment group Mycom Setdco and Indonesian group V’Power Corporation in 1994. In 1998, Mycom Setdco and V’Power sold Lamborghini to the Volkswagen Group where it was placed under the control of the group’s Audi division. New products and model lines were introduced to the brand’s portfolio and brought to the market and saw an increased productivity for the brand Lamborghini. In the late 2000s, during the worldwide financial crisis and the subsequent economic crisis, Lamborghini’s sales saw a drop of nearly 50 percent.

Automobiles:
Lamborghini sis quiet a number of cars that were very speedy and cute even though Mr Ferruccio never really had interest in Motorsport since crashing his old Fiat in a restaurant in Turin while on a rally. Better still, these cars are made with speedy qualities. The spectacular cars are usually known and easy to differentiate from all others based on their looks and designs. Other qualities include the interior, the sound and the speed. The Lamborghini speed is very super and worthwhile.

The Lamborghini Miura

When Ferroccio fell in love with bull fight, he decided to the name of one the famous bull breeder Don Eduardo Miura on his car which was as speedy as anything.  The Miura was originally conceived by Lamborghini’s engineering team, who designed the car in their spare time against the wishes of company founder Ferruccio Lamborghini . He preferred powerful yet sedate grand touring cars, rather than the racecar-derived machines
produced by local rival Ferrari . The Miura’s rolling chassis was presented at the 1965 Turin auto show, and the prototype P400 debuted at the 1966 Geneva show, to stellar receptions from showgoers and motoring
press alike. Both were impressed by Marcello Gandini’s sleek styling and the car’s revolutionary mid-engine design.
As Lamborghini’s flagship car, the Miura received periodic updates and remained in production until 1973, and was not replaced in the automaker’s lineup until the Countach entered production in 1974, amid tumultuous
financial times for the company. The Car therefore became Lambo’s flagship and was spectacular in the speedy aspect.

Lamborghini Egoista
The Lamborghini Egoista is a concept car unveiled by Lamborghini for the company’s 50th anniversary. The fully functioning model is based on the Gallardo. It features a 5.2 L (317 cu in) V10 engine producing 600 hp
(447 kW ; 608 PS ).  The Egoista has a unique one-seat cockpit, which is similar to that of a modern fighter jet,
and has a canopy door that is completely removable. The steering wheel must be removed
to enter and exit the vehicle.  The unique exterior of the Egoista is meant to resemble a bull ready to charge if looked at from the side.  The lighting resembles that of a modern airplane, with sidemarkers and indicators on the sides and top of the car as well as front and rear. The bodywork consists of active aerodynamic panels that raise and lower for optimum downforce and stability. The body and wheels are made of antiradar material to even more identify with jet fighters. In Italian (as well as Polish, Spanish, Portuguese, Czech, and Romanian), Egoista literally means “selfish”. According to the model’s designer Walter de Silva, the Egoista “represents hedonism taken to the extreme.”
The car is now on display at the Lamborghini museum located in Sant’Agata Bolognese.

Lamborghini Sesto Elements
The sixth element in English. This was unveiled during the during the 201 Paris motor show. The car was entirely made out of Carbon fibre which therefore made it so light weighing just about 999kg. Speedy and powerful. The car was unveiled and only twenty units were produced. Each was assumed to have cost from $2.2million.
It also represented the Lamborghini pride of new road legacy of staying ahead of others.

Lamborghini Reventon

The ride was unveiled to the general public in the year 2007 as a Lamborghini concept. The car was a modified Murcielago the successor of Diablo. The reception of the car was well received as the 20 units that were produced were all sold. On the average, the Reventon was said to have cost $1.7million and above.
The car was speedy and powered with a v12 engine made by the automaker. Speeding up to 0.62 within 27seconds.

Lamborghini Estoque

The Lamborghini Estoque (Spanish pronunciation: [esˈtoke] ) is a one-off Concept Car built by Lamborghini . Unlike current production Lamborghini cars, which are mid- engine two-seat sports cars, the Estoque is a
four-door sedan . The Estoque was introduced at the 2008 Paris Motor Show .  The Estoque is the first
front-engine vehicle by Lamborghini since the LM002 utility vehicle. It is described as a “concept for a $230,000 four-door sedan”.  It currently houses a 5.2 litre V10 engine, although there has been speculation that this could be replaced by a V12, V8, or possibly even a hybrid or turbo-diesel engine, as suggested by Lamborghini’s Brand Director, Manfred Fitzgerald.  As with other Lamborghinis, the Estoque derives its name from the sport and tradition of bullfighting : An estoque is a type of sword traditionally used by matadors.

Lamborghini Urus

Since the Estoque, there were speculations about the automaker going into the manufacturing of SUVs. Until the year 2013  when the company CEO Stephan Winklemann announced the attempt of the company to into the manufacturing of the Urus concept. So since the 1993 LM002, the Urus became the successor and took over the production of the Lambo Rambo.
The Urus is a 4seater ride powered by v10 Lamborghini engine. Its quiet light weighed since its 100kg lighter than regular SUVs. Production unit according to the company’s president is expected yo be 3,000 each year.

Lamborghini Veneno

The Lamborghini Veneno is a limited production supercar based on the Lamborghini Aventador
and was built to celebrate Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary. As of December 2013, at a price of US$4,500,000, it is the most expensive production car in the world.  The prototype, Car Zero, is finished in grey and includes an Italian flag vinyl on both sides of the car. The engine is a development of the Aventador’s 6.5 L V12 and produces 750 PS (552 kW; 740 bhp).  Lamborghini built just 5 examples of the Veneno: 2 for itself, and just three for the
customers. The first Veneno, with red accents, went to Antoine Dominic, owner of Lamborghini Long Island. The second went to Kris Singh, whose car was delivered with red, green and white accents. the third model was seen in
Hong Kong en route to Macau where its new owner presumably resides. Car Zero, which was the vehicle on display, will be retained by the factory for the museum. The three production cars cost €3,120,000 each, and all
three were sold.  The vehicle number 0 was unveiled at the March 2013 Geneva Motor Show , followed by 2013 Quail Motorsports Gathering,  Vallelunga circuit near Rome during the World Finals of Lamborghini Super Trofeo 2013 series.  There’s another number 0 Veneno prototype test car.

The short revolution

Lamborghini Diablo
The Lamborghini Diablo is a high-performance mid-engined sports car that was built by Italian automaker Lamborghini between 1990 and 2001. It was the first Lamborghini capable of attaining a top speed in excess of 200 miles per hour (320 km/h). After the end of its production run in 2001, the Diablo was replaced by the
Lamborghini Murciélago. Diablo is “devil” in Spanish, which is diavolo in Italian. The design of the car was contracted to Marcello Gandini , who had designed its two predecessors. When Chrysler bought the company in 1987, providing money to complete its development, its management was uncomfortable with Gandini’s designs and
commissioned its design team in Detroit to execute a third extensive redesign, smoothing out the trademark sharp edges and corners of Gandini’s original design, and leaving him famously unimpressed. In fact, Gandini was so
disappointed with the “softened” shape that he would later realize his original design in the
Cizeta-Moroder V16T .  The car became known as the Diablo, carrying on Lamborghini’s tradition of naming its cars
after breeds of fighting bull. The Diablo was named after a ferocious bull raised by the Duke of Veragua in the 19th century, famous for fighting an epic battle with ‘El Chicorro’ in Madrid on July 11, 1869. [3] In the words of Top
Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson , the Diablo was designed “solely to be the biggest head-turner in the world.”
The development is believed to have cost a total of 6 billion Italian lira .

Lamborghini Murcielago

The Murcielago took over production selling the total of 4,099 units altogether since its reeptuin in the year 2001 Murcielago had since been a successful auto for the automaker. Successor to the
Diablo and flagship of the automaker’s lineup , the Murciélago was introduced as a coupé in 2001. The Murcielago was first available in North America for the 2002 model year. The automaker’s first new design in eleven years,
the car was also the brand’s first new model under the ownership of German parent company Audi , which is owned by Volkswagen. It is styled by Peruvian-born Belgian Luc Donckerwolke , Lamborghini’s head of design from 1998 to 2005.

Lamborghini Aventador

The development of a successor to the Murciélago was widely speculated in the motoring press as the supercar approached the end of its first decade in production. Spy photos published on the internet in January
2010 showed a camouflaged Lamborghini prototype undergoing winter testing.  In December 2010, Autocar published a test drive of the new prototype, however, very little was released. Even the name was a mystery up until
it was reported that Lamborghini registered the name “Aventador” with the U.S. trademark office.  At the 2011 Geneva Motor Show , Lamborghini revealed their new V12 flagship and Murciélago successor, the Aventador LP 700–4. The new sports car would utilize a 6.5 litre V12 engine, newly designed specially for the car by Lamborghini, producing 691 hp (700 PS; 515 kW). 0–62 mph (100 km/h) takes 2.9 seconds. Top speed was stated to exceed
217 mph (350 km/h). The Aventador would also be considerably lighter than the outgoing Murciélago, with a dry weight of 3,470 lb (1,575 kg). This car had ever since been a successful one ever since its reception in the 2011.
The speedy car which looks beautiful and well designed with better outlook makes it a real gorgeous.

Lamborghini Gallardo 

The Lamborghini Gallardo ( /ɡaɪˈjɑrdoʊ/ ; Italian: [ɡaʎˈʎardo] ) is a sports car built by Lamborghini from 2003 to 2013. It is Lamborghini’s best-selling model with 14,022 being built throughout its lifetime.  Named after a famous breed of fighting bull,  the V-10 Gallardo has been Lamborghini’s sales leader and stable-mate to a succession of V-12
flagship models—first to the Lamborghini Murciélago (4,099 built between 2001 and 2011), then to the current flagship Lamborghini Aventador . On November 25, 2013, the last Gallardo was rolled off the production line.

Lamborghini Huracan

Huracan buried his own predecessor the Gallardo in the year 2014. The Huracan which features a new look and better lightening speed although not that quiet faster than the Gallardo but the company claims it was a but faster. Powered with a V10 engine, the lightweight car’s redesigned with a new look that makes it really look like the typical Lamborghini.
The company’s adoption of speed might he said to have overpowered the Ferruccio’s initial ambition of normal road cars rather than sport cars.

Museums
This two story museum is attached to the headquarters, and covers the history of Lamborghini cars and sport utility vehicles, showcasing a variety of modern and vintage models. The museum uses displays of cars, engines and photos to provide a history and review important milestones of Lamborghini.
In case you don’t know, Lamborghini does produce an extra one car of every car and therefore places it at the museum for future and references.

The company’s legacy of bullfight and speed is always their number one priority and this had actually made the company unique since its part of the world most powerful sportcar maker.
