Once touted as the next-gen and the most futuristic, the Tesla Cybertruck which was unveiled back in 2019 is slowly joining other unreleased Tesla products such as the Roadster – but I digress.
Reuter just confirmed that the production of the Cybertruck is now being pushed back to early 2023 even though the company had previously stated that it’ll commence production by the end of the year 2021.
While that might be disappointing news to those who had anticipated the truck when it first debut – thanks to numerous promises made by the company CEO, Elon Musk, and even the failed side windshield test.
The ridiculous design of the car is another thing but even though Elon Musk mocked other trucks, GM is now going to the market with its Hummer EV while Ford is also going with its F-150 Lightning EV truck. There are other brands on the market as well such as Rivian. This news might just make any Tesla superfan feel left behind but the journey never stops.

Anyway, back to the news, Reuters said the reason for the delay is due to the fact that Tesla wants to change the truck’s features and functions in order to make it a compelling product because different brands are entering the EV Truck market.
Even if Tesla misses its deadline of Q1 2023 again, it won’t be surprising because the company is known for this especially in the case of its Roadster and Semi heavy-duty trucks; none of which is being made yet.
