The Dark Mode trend is far from over as its now well saturated across multiple services and operating systems around the world. It’s so popular that even web technologies now make us e of them for example, click on the Moon icon switch at the top right corner on the Brumpost website and you get a dark mode on our website.
While many companies have deployed this technology already, Snapchat seems to be a late adopter of the technology which is even on Facebook, Twitter and other popular services around the world already.
A new report made by the AppleTerminal has it that Snapchat will be allowing a small percentage of its users in some select markets to test out the feature.
Some of those who have started experiencing the changes have announced it on Twitter mid January of 2021

However, the social media platform didn’t provide any detail as to which market or users that can test out the new Dark mode feature.
The company seems to want to keep things secretive until its official and the official time isn’t yet known by most.
Twitter also saw some disgruntled Snapchat users claiming that they were unable to test out the new dark mode even though they had access to the app’s beta version.

It is quite interesting that up until now, Snapchat is the only big messaging service that is yet to have support for the dark mode feature which seems to have already being saturated across the cyberspace.
