As the G20 Summit come to an end, China’s Xi Jinping has stated that his country will team up with Germany concerning vaccine coordination in order to ensure there is equitable and efficient distribution of the COVID-19 vaccines globally especially in developing nations around the world.

This remark was made during the President’s telephone conversation with German’s Chancellor Angela Merkel on Tuesday which was just days when the G20 ended.

The topic of the Coronavirus pandemic was one of the important things talked about considering the fact that Europe is currently experiencing a second-wave of the pandemic even though there have been some good news considering the progress of researches in finding an ultimate vaccine to help prevent the further spread of the deadly coronavirus.

In his words, the Chinese president stated that his country hoped that Germany and the EU could be more open to Chinese companies as well as allowing a more bilateral cooperation which should be characterized by mutual respect, mutual benefit as well as a win-win cooperation.

Referring to the new development strategy, Xi said China will continue to widen its domestic market and open up, which will bring new opportunities for German companies. And President Xi also stated that a bilateral cooperation is very important under the current international environment.

He said he hopes the two sides will accelerate negotiations in order to conclude a China-EU investment agreement by the end of this year.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel on the other hand stated that she hope to continue to promote the sustained and sound development of Germany-China and EU-China relationship as well as Germany completing a China-EU investment agreement as planned which is meant to further help strengthen cooperation in vaccine distribution, investment, climate change as well as environmental protection.
