The coronavirus has been ravaging the entire globe for months now killing thousands and infecting millions while rendering businesses and millions of individuals unemployed causing a serious global economic crisis.
New York is one of the places that really got hit by this pandemic while the US has a total of more than 600,000 reported cases as of today (we use Bing to measure the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic).
But there finally might be a good news as the state reported a fall in the number of hospitalization for the first time since the onset of the pandemic which showed the state, which is the epicenter may already be at the peak of the crisis according to the state governor, Andrew Cuomo.
He further made it known that the state will not be opened contrary to the President who asserted he holds total authority over states as to considering when schools and businesses are to reopen. Cuomo said the state will not open as he has no time to fight with the president, Donald Trump.

Governor Cuomo also made it known that a total of 18,697 people were hospitalized across New York which was down from 18,825 a day earlier and that marks the first tick lower since the crisis began.
The number of patients admitted to the hospital for the COVID-19 disease came to about 1,600 on Monday down by more than 300 people unlike the day before that.
“We think we are at the apex on the plateau,” Cuomo said, though he cautioned that the decline, while part of a flattening trend over the past week or so, was statistically insignificant and warned against relaxing stay-at-home orders too quickly.
“We could lose all the progress we made in one week,” he said. Aside that, the Governor also made it known that some other 778 New Yorkers lost their lives on Monday up from 671 a day earlier which marked a lowest daily death count since April 5th. As of now, a total of 10,834 New Yorkers have lost their lives due to the disease which nearly half the total across the entire country.
On Monday, Cuomo said he was teaming up with neighboring states Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island to devise strategies for easing stay-at-home orders, an action that appeared to upset Trump.
The US President, Donald Trump had earlier made it known on Monday during a press briefing that he had total authority over when businesses and schools would reopen and that assertion was quickly challenged by a number of governors on the US constitutional grounds.
“The president is clearly spoiling for a fight on this issue,” said Cuomo, who had appeared on TV multiple times since Trump’s comments to push back on them. “The president will have no fight with me. I will not engage in it.”
Meanwhile Cuomo believed the best way to getting people back to continuing their daily lives is by conducting a mass and rapid testing while calling on the Federal Emergency Management Agency to take the lead in procuring tests.
The COVID-19 is a respiratory disease caused by a new strain of Virus (SARS CoV-2) or Coronavirus first detected in Wuhan, China last December and has caused numerous death across the globe leading to cities and many countries being shutdown due to the pandemic.
