Even though there has been a lot of rumor concerning the actual date of the next Samsung Unpacked event, the South Korean tech giant is in fact making it properly official.
The event is when we’ll all have a glance at what the next-gen Galaxy S23 would actually look like even though what we’ve been seeing online showed there are little to insignificant differences in the hardware design of the next-gen Samsung’s flagship.
Back to the unveiling, it will reportedly be an in-person event in San Francisco, USA and the date is February 1, 2023.
This will actually be the first in-person Samsung Unpacked event since the COVID-19 pandemic which started back in 2020. So there is supposed to be some first-hand interaction with the device after the event keynote.

And as for the flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S23 series will offer some enhanced camera specifications. The device will come in three models like the previous models: S23 Ultra, S23+, and the base S23.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra will of course be the main one getting enhanced with all the high-end features and the multi-camera system.
Samsung will also reportedly step its primary camera hardware up from 108MP to 200MP. The current 108MP was introduced back in 2020 when the company released its S20 Ultra. But Xiaomi Mi Note 10 was the first smartphone to use this big sensor.
Even though the Galaxy S23 series will most definitely be the champion of the show, other devices that could be announced during the event include Samsung Galaxy Book 3 in the company’s laptop line.
Still, on the laptop models, the Galaxy Book 3 will reportedly come in various models such as the Galaxy Book 3 Pro and Book 3 Pro 360 all expected to have high-end features such as an AMOLED display, Intel’s latest processors, strong batteries, and other cool features to buttress the capacity of the device.
While the event will be physically held, it will also be streamed live across the globe so if you want to tune in, you can check out Samsung’s YouTube channel or visit their official website.
As mentioned earlier, the event will commence on the Feb. 1st and the time is 10 AM PST (7 PM CET, 11:30 PM IST).
As for pre-orders, it’s expected to commence about a week after the event. Also, the price tag will range between US$699 for the base model and US$1,099 for the high-end Ultra model.
