Even though Huawei had been battling the US for sometimes now trying to get its place back in the western market, the company had continue to release new smartphones despite being banned from working with a number of US-Based companies such as Google and it extended to TSMC because some of their technologies used in developing the Kirin chipset are obtained from the US.

Despite this tough situation, the company had slowly but surely moving away to other non-American companies to get components with which it can use in developing its future smartphones.

With the likes of positive relationships being established between big tech companies such as AMD and Intel, Samsung is the next which has received a green light from the US government.

According to a report from Reuters, the Korean tech manufacturer Samsung Display which is a division of Samsung has granted a license to continue supplying certain display panel products to Huawei technologies.

One big question which is yet to be answered is whether Samsung Display will be supplying its OLED panels to Huawei as the technology also require other manufacturers to get licenses from the US government before going ahead.

Because recently LG Display which is a prominent rival of Samsung Display stated it would need to get a license from the US government before it could continue doing business with Huawei.

And it’s not just LG Display only as other companies which have been doing businesses with the Chinese tech giant are now required to first obtain some form of license from the US government before they can do anything with Huawei.

Among the successful licensing was Intel which confirmed that it has been granted license to supply chipsets to Huawei which will be used in developing its computer products while talks are still on with the likes of Qualcomm, MediaTek, Sony, Samsung, SK Hynix and Kioxia in order to get permissions so as to continue doing business with the black-listed Huawei.
