Samsung will definitely release an update to the Galaxy Z Flip series this year with the Z Flip 3 and there are some leaks and rumors surrounding the release of the device already all over the internet.
There was in fact a leaked promo video of the device which was spotted on the internet and as usual LetsGoDigital did what they’re known for which is creating a mock-up or render of what the actual device might look like when it finally debut.
According to the render, the device has a dual-tone design with a black top portion where the vertically-aligned secondary camera system is located.
The remaining portion has a different color. Multiple reports has it that the device may come in as many as 8 different colors because it’s a fashion smartphone.
Color options are rumored to be between gray, white, purple, green, black, beige, blue, and pink.

And according to earlier reports and rumors about the device, it will come with some pretty cool features and will utilize the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus with a renewed Armor Frame to make it much more durable with likely support for splash resistance.
One thing that I’d find interesting will be the usability of the device’s secondary display which will sit at the external part of the device.
While there’s nothing known about the expected features of the device, what I think of in this case includes the fact that the device will come with some pretty cool specs because it will be another US$1000 smartphone.
Expect a high-end Snapdragon 888 chipset with at least 12GB of RAM and maybe 128GB of internal storage while it should also have a multiple camera system. Rumor has it that the primary sensor could be a 108MP snapper which while the secondary snapper might be a 12MP sensor up front.
In terms of the design, there shouldn’t be anything too different especially within the main screen of the device because obviously, there will be a hole-punch camera cut-out to house the front-facing selfie camera and the screen size could reach about 6.5 when unfolded.
The release date of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 could be during the same period when the Galaxy Fold 3 will be debuting and that’s expected to be a couple of month away from now – probably August the latter which is rumored to now have support for the Samsung S-Pen – a bad news for the next-gen Galaxy Note series if there will be one.
