Just as we found the Redmi 9 on Xiaomi’s RF Exposure website, the upgraded model, the Redmi 10X is also reportedly making its own appearance on Google Play Console listing. The naming though is still under debate as the current model is “9” . With rumors swirling all over the internet the device is alleged to be rebranded as Redmi Note 9 in China but what was found on the Google Play Console listing was quite different than what was expected.
According tot he listing, the Redmi 10X 4G has the codename Merlin and will feature the MediaTek Helip G70 processor rather than the Helio G85 seen on the Redmi Note 9. The GPU is a Mali G52 and the RAM is going to be 3GB but there could also be other storage variants.
While the naming sounds quite different apart from one another, much of the specifications of the Redmi 10x can be mixed up with the Redmi 9 though the latter features an FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels while the display specs of the former could be more stepped up right above the present model. The device will also run the current Android 10 OS.
But more information will still be revealed about the device which means this isn’t the final expectation just yet.
