The OnePlus smartphone brand under the umbrella of OPPO has diversified its portfolio of smartphone devices and one of those the Chinese tech brand is on the verge of debuting is the OnePlus Ace Pro which is expected to drop on Aug. 3rd.
Ahead of the launch, a number of key features and important spec revelations have been made giving potential buyers an oversight about what to expect about the device.
According to reports, the device is expected to include an industry-first eight-channel vapor chamber, a 150W blazing-fast charging capacity, and a lot of storage capacity: 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
With those features, one already knows the said device is going to be in the premium area. Below is a poster shared by OnePlus via social media detailing the features and specifications of the forthcoming device.

Based on the official teaser, the device is expected to sport a big 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a fast 120Hz refresh rate and a whopping 720Hz touch sampling capacity. Those numbers are often found on game-focused smartphones but the list goes on.
Still, on the display part, OnePlus is known for the brilliancy of its device’s display and that should be extended to the OnePlus Ace Pro as well considering the output of the display having over 1.07 billion colors.
As for the body, the device is expected to have very thin bezels around the display and should also have support for HDR10+ and the resolution should at least be Full HD+ with a 20:9 aspect ratio. In terms of thickness, we can expect about 1.48mm.
In other areas, the device is expected to be equipped with the latest all-powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with the aforementioned 16GB RAM + 256GB storage (for the Indian market) as well as a variant with a larger 512GB of internal storage for China market.
What would be a great smartphone without great camera hardware? The OnePlus Ace Pro is expected to sport a 50MP SonyIMX766 primary sensor with support for optical image stabilization, then an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a small 2MP macro camera which I think is a waste of hardware. Wouldn’t it be great to just have a powerful telephoto lens there to balance the camera hardware out?
Up front, you’ll get a 16MP camera which isn’t bad. While the device will come with the current Android 12 update out of the box and ColorOS 12.1 as its primary skin (for a specific Asian market) while the usual OxygenOS will be shipped globally.
As for the power of the device, the OnePlus Ace Pro is expected to sport a big 4,800mAh battery with a blazing-fast 150W charging capacity. Other things such as water resistance and so forth are yet unknown. Also, there are no details about the price of the smartphone just yet. So we may have to wait until the launch date. However, this post will be updated if there’s anything new about the OnePlus Ace Pro.
