The OnePlus flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 7T Pro may never be launched in the US while other countries might get the device. Only the special editions such which is the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren Edition is said to only be released in US market.
One of the major reason for this is to consider the earlier launching of the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro smartphones which were both launched earlier this year. Only the OnePlus 7 Pro made it to the US smartphone market while both the normal model, the OnePlus 7 and the Pro were sold in Europe, India and China.
According to a rumored report from an tipster, it’s now revealed that the OnePlus 7T Pro will not be released in the US. Now about the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren Edition is said to only be exclusively sold by Verizon. While the major specifications of this high end smartphone isn’t yet revealed, the 5G connectivity is very obvious considering the fact that smartphone makers now includes this as 5G is said to begin globally rolled out by 2020.
The official date for the announcement of the OnePlus 7T Pro is expected to be on the 10th of October while preorders are expected to start 5 days later which is October 15. Meanwhile, there is still no official confirmation on the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren Edition for the U.S.

Fewer specifications that surfaced includes a 6.55 inch Fluid AMOLED display with a 1080 X 2400 Pixels resolution with a waterdrop notch. It’s also rumored to feature a SnapDragon 855+ SoC and a 8GB RAM with two models of different storage sizes (128 GB and 256 GB).
The device is also tipped to feature a triple camera setup with a 48 MegaPixel primary lens as well as a 12 MegaPixel telephoto lens and also a 16 MegaPixel ultrawide lens. As for power, it’s thought that the device will have a 3,800 mAh battery with Warp Charge 30T.
Both the OnePlus 7T Pro and the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren Edition will come with the OxygenOS which is based on Android 10 and will have an in-display fingerprint sensor. Both smartphones will have support for 90Hz refresh rate as wel as a 16 MegaPixel front facing camera. The McLaren Edition with 5G support may sport a carbon fiber body. It could be packed with highest configuration specs of the OnePlus 7T Pro meaning it will be more expensive than the normal Pro model. But nothing yet as for pricing of both smartphones but these are major flagships and could be in the realms of $500.
