While nothing is yet official, the most recent leak is about a short video that appeared on YouTube posted bon the channel Random Stuff 2 which is about 4 minutes long offering a glance about the device.
It also confirms most of the details that have leaked concerning the Galaxy S21 series. The design of the new Galaxy S21 series is quite similar to the current Galaxy S20 series in some ways especially from the front considering the fact that Samsung is retaining the design aesthetics of the current flagship but there will be some changes according to the rumors. These changes are based on the size of the device as well as the camera module design.
The device is said to feature a massive 6.7-inch 12Hz Super AMOLED screen and then an ultra-thin bezels around it which will be uniform.
Previous leaks show that the Galaxy S21 series will adopt a new camera design. The Galaxy S21+ features three cameras on the rear.
The leaked model in the video is a pre-production PVT (Production Validation Test) unit according to the tipster Max Jambor. The leak also showed that t here is a matte finish on the final model all which give a better insight about what to hope for when the device finally get released next year.
According to the video leaker, he claimed to have had the opportunity of using the device for over two weeks which Max Weinbach suggested that the leaked device unit is likely a carrier unit from either T-Mobile or Metro which have been given out for network connectivity testing before final launch.
And as for the camera which is the interesting part, unfortunately, nothing is yet known about this but the leaker hinted the camera not to be surprisingly different from the current model also hinted oversaturation from pictures taken whereby everything seems too blown out.
The video also shows the device running the GeekBench app and the test suggests the device is the Snapdragon 888-powered model. The Galaxy S21+ polled a single-core test score of 1,115 points and on the multi-core test, it scores an impressive 3,326 points.
Samsung is expected to officially announce the Galaxy S21 series on January 14 which is much earlier than anticipated. One of the rumors we heard is the fact that Samsung could oust the Galaxy Note series for good after report says the company wants to incorporate the Stylus S-Pen on the S21 Ultra and future Galaxy Z Fold 3.
