We might get another Galaxy Unpacked event where Samsung will likely unveil its 2021 Galaxy Z Fold 3. Rumors and reports of the device has been in the news for a pretty long time now and we might finally be getting some positive outcome from Samsung eventually.
According to a media report, the South Korean tech company is expected to begin a mass production of the components that will be used to make the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
According to the report from WinFuture, Samsung has began the production of components of the upcoming Z Fold 3 and these will be peripheral components which will be built into the new foldable device according to the report.
The report further stated that the release of the smartphone could be sooner than expected considering the fact that Samsung has started production much earlier.
The report further add that the company will embark on a modest product run based on the high asking price of the foldable smartphones as well as the company ensuring a smooth run of its production.
Rumors about the Galaxy Z Fold 3 being the end of the Galax Note series continues because the device is expected to come with support for the S-Pen but what could disqualify this report is the fact that the device will only offer support for the S-Pen rather than being an integral part of it just as the Galaxy Note series.
So there might never be a slot to dock the stylus within the Galaxy Z Fold 3 when it’s released and that might hint the coming of the Note….or not.
As for the design, there probably won’t be any drastic design changes on the device because Samsung seems to be the trendsetter in the design of the foldable smartphone market.
Other things we could get includes an under-display fingerprint scanner, a better camera system which will definitely be a multiple set-up and hopefully with a much improved capability as seen in the Huawei Mate X2.
By comparison, the current Z Fold 2 has a 10MP sensor up front and another camera unit within the device when unfolded and that is a 16MP sensor.
The number could be increased when the next version debuts later on this year which will be a good thing.
Also the usage of the UTG technology is still expected to be in place which will offer some effective protection to the device in all sense.
In terms of power, we could get a 4,400mAh battery with a 25W fast charging support and the outermost display may be a 5.4-inch OLED panel with 2260 x 816 pixels or resolution while the dual foldable screen will be about 7.77inch across when unfolded.
