Xiaomi’s MiUI 13 according to a recent report now feature some pretty cool design aesthetics and interesting features in terms of the user interface and the Chinese tech giant could roll out its first closed beta at the end of the year.
The release of the current MiUI 12 was a big upgrade from the previous MiUI 11. Even though many do say Xiaomi is often a latecomer when it comes to software updates for its customers, things have changed in recent times as the company continues to release updates as soon as it has one.
While one can say that MiUI 12 was mostly about optimization to further enhance the functionalities of the Xiaomi devices, the new upgrade will reportedly feature a number of interesting improvements system-wide.

The core of the software is built on both Android 11 and Android 12 which means its core has not fully adopted the upgraded Android 12 update.

Subsequent updates might include a full Android 12 adoption or at least by the time the stable version of the software is ready to launch.
And finally, the first instances of MIUI 13 closed beta are expected to pop up at the end of the year, as per the post. This further confirms Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun’s statement from August that had already set an end-of-year release date for MIUI 13.
With that said, the stable version of the MiUI 13 could be slated for 2022 – at least for global users.

Above are some leaked screenshots of the MiUI 12 update which has new icon sets to match up with Google’s Material You UI for Android 12.
