The Reno 7 series is on the way and the device will come in three models namely Reno 7 Pro, Reno 7, and a lower-tier Reno 7 SE.
What is different about the naming this time around is the absence of a “Pro Plus” variant which automatically makes the Reno 7 Pro the highest variant which would have all the high-end features as expected.
According to a recent report, the device is expected to come with varying specifications and one of that is the screen of the device.
The base model is expected to sport a 6.5-inch OLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate while the upgraded “Pro” model will have the faster 120Hz refresh rates.

The devices will also sport a 4,500mAh battery that can charge at a whopping 65W.
Another thing that stood out is the design difference between the devices which could be reminiscent of the previous Reno 6 series.
Away from the design, the Oppo Reno 7 is expected to have a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor with a smaller 16MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP depth sensor.
Then the Oppo Reno 7 Pro will use Samsung’s 50MP GN5 sensor instead with an OmniVision’s 64MP OV64B sensor as its secondary snapper for ultrawide and then a 13MP telephoto camera.
The base model will also run the previous Dimensity 1200 chipset while the Reno 7 Pro will opt for the high-end Snapdragon 888 chipset with 8GB/12GB of RAM with internal storage options between 128GB and 256GB.
Oh, the Oppo Reno 7 SE has its own specifications as well. It’ll be the smallest sporting a 6.43-inch panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. The display technology is unknown at this moment but it’s likely to be an IPS LCD panel since it’s the base model.
However, it’ll sport a Dimensity 920 chipset with about 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
It’ll sport a 32MP front-facing selfie camera with a 64MP OV64B primary sensor at the back with an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultrawide sensor and lastly, a smaller 2MP depth sensor.
As for the battery, it’ll sport a 4,300mAh Li-Po battery and should also support 65W fast charging just like the others.
And as for the release date, there isn’t anything official from the company however, there are suggestions the device could debut as soon as November.
