By the 2nd of next month, October, Microsoft has confirmed it would be holding an event in Manhattan, US at 10 a.m. ET and it’s expected that the major reason unveiling will be the 2-in-1 Surface Pro 7 and the Surface Laptop 3 but now, there is a fresh report on Winfuture.de has leaked the configurations of the Surface Pro 7.
In the leaked report, Microsoft will likely release about 5 variants of the Surface Pro 7 in Europe with a base model that features an Intel Core i3 processor that has 4GB RAM and 128 GB of SSD Storage. Then there would be another two high end models which would feature Intel Core i7 processors separated as 128GB SSD and 256GB SSD storage choices. Also the two high-end models could be powered by an 8GB RAM.
Then there would be another dual model which would also be powered by that same Intel Core i7 but would have a much larger 16GB RAM as well as 256GB and 512GB SSD Storage.
These new Surface Pro 7 laptops are expected to be powered by the 10th generation Intel Core processors. And as for the design of the chasis, they are expected to take resemblance of their predecessors but would offer slightly larger screens with thinner bezels.
While previous rumors claimed that there could be some Snapdragon 8CX models, the new report has no mentioning about it. Also, it has no information on the pricing of the Surface Pro 7.
On Oct. 2, Microsoft may not launch a new edition of the Surface Book. However, it may launch a Surface Laptop 3 that may sport a 15-inch display. It is expected to arrive as a competitor for the MacBook Pro. But whatever it is Microsoft has planned to unveil this year, it’s definitely going to be worthwhile considering how nice the older Surface laptops were.
