Still on Hauwei, the brand doesn’t seem to be giving up yet on its smartphone line-up and while that might sound optimistic from the brand’s perspective, its struggle continues as its losing its grip on the smartphone market pretty badly.
The company currently have tons of problems to deal with even with that, Huawei will still go ahead to plan out the release of a couple of devices in 2021 according to report and it could make a massive U-turn around back in coming years – hopefully.
Among those devices being reported to be on the verge of being released this year is the P50 series which let’s face it – should have been released a long long time ago but it’s May and nothing is official about the P50 series yet.
It’s so bad now that there is no official information as to the time the device could make it out to the market even though there are rumors about the fact that it’s former sub brand, Honor which was sold late 2020 is now working on releasing its Honor 50 series by next month.
There have been different non-official news and rumors flying across the internet about what the Huawei P50 series will look like. One of the obvious is the fact the device could spot a single hole-punch camera cut-out up-front with a dual-ring rear camera design.
There there was a Weibo blogger who announced that the device will have a centered hole-punch front-facing camera system, curved display but not the extreme ones we’ve seen in the previous Mate series. The rear camera design will be small circle matrix design which looks similar to the Nova 8 Pro from the company.
Still on the rumors and reports, the device is expected to come with a 6.3-inch display with a dimensions being 156.7 x 74 x 8.3mm (if including the rear camera protrusion, it is 10.6 mm).
This simply means the P50’s body will be larger than that of the P40 (P40 body size is 148.9 x 71.06 x 8.5 mm). Also, the Huawei P50 series is expected to adopt a new outsole main camera IMX707, which should reach 1/1.18 inches.
