Still on Huawei, the company’s sub brand, Honor’s next coming flagship, the Honor View 30 (or V30) is said to be compatible with the 5G network according to reports gotten from the company’s president, Zhao Ming. The older Honor View 20 (or Honor V20) was initially launched over in China but then went global with the Honor View name. So the same is assumed to be repeated with the next Honor flagship device, the V30 which could go as View 30 as well (stated above)

Now since Ming referred to the device as V30, this could mean it would be getting launched later this year as well in China. Considering it’s flagship status, it would likely be powered also by the yet unannounced HiSilicon Kirin 990 chipset which could get it’s 5G power from the Balong 5000 chipset. But the international version (View 30) might or might not inherit this same specifications considering the hurdles Huawei as a whole is having with the US government. However, due to its 5G capabilities, expect it to be more expensive than last year’s, otherwise affordable, flagship V20/View 20.

As for the operating system, the device could be powered by the Android OS as well. As we expect the next Huawei Mate 30 series to be launched this September for example, it’s rumored that the Lite Version of the device which could be the Huawei Nova 5i could be powered by the Huawei’s homemade Harmony OS which Huawei had launched with it’s forthcoming Honor Vision Screen, a smart TV.

The same adoption could be made with the Honor View/V 30 considering the fact that the first device to run the Harmony OS was under the Honor brand, it would be a nice guess if the first smartphone to run it commercially would be the Honor flagship. Bu still, we can expect the Honor V30 to be announced around December, but the question still remains: will it be able to run Android, and get official support from Google?

The number of cameras, notch or hole-punch, wireless charging support and headphone jack support and other major physical attributes and specifications are yet unknown as of now because there hasnt been so much said about the device as of yet. But well definitely update you guys whenever we have more stories about the Honor V30 smartphone.
