There have been innumerable reports and rumors about the forthcoming iPhone 13 which is still months away from debuting. The latest of such includes some pretty cool features that we might see on the device when it finally makes it debut and that includes things like a portless design with astrophotography and so much more.
PhoneArena made a post based on reports from tipsters such as Jon Prosser and Ma Weinbach which are based on info they got on the next-gen iPhone 13 series.
The iPhone 13 Pro for example will have a slightly more texturized soft matte black panel which is meant to make gripping much more comfortable. But there is also report that by the end of the year, iPhone would sport an LTPO always-on display with 120Hz refresh rate for a much faster interactivity and better user experience.
Notably, the Apple Watch Series 6 already uses the same LTPO screen for an always on display. Weinbach added that the “Always-On Display will have minimal customizability. Current design basically looks like a toned down lock screen. Clock and battery charge is always visible. Notifications seem to be displayed using a bar and icons. Upon receiving, the notification will pop up normally except that the screen will not entirely light up. Instead, it will display just like you’re used to right now, except dimmed down and only temporarily.”
In terms of design, the device could appear similar to the current iPhone 12 series and of course with the notch. But there could be the exclusion of the lightning charging port which is Apple’s attempt to further promote its MagSafe wireless charging system on the device.

The inclusion of the Astrophotography feature will enable users to take clear photos of night sky, the moon and stars. The report stated that user basically have to merely point their phone’s camera towards the sky and the software gets the rest done using some internal processing capacity.
There are more stories that will keep coming up in subsequent time some of which might never make it to the final product later on this year. Let’s just hope Apple doesn’t pull off too much features from the device.
