Evene though the sales of the iPhone 12 series is just starting out, there have already been reports about the next-gen iPhone 13 series which rumors has it might have some really cool features that’ll make it one of the best smartphone when it finally get released next year. Just hoping Apple doesn’t pull another important component from the device and expect you purchase it separately.
So according to a couple of analysts Blayne Curtis, Tim Long and Thomas O’Malley as well as other associates at Barclays made the claims that the iPhone 13 will have a blazing-fast Wi-Fi 6E support.
Analysts are keen on the new Wi-Fi standard because of its extended capacity compared to the standard Wi-Fi 6 that is currently offered in the iPhone 12 and iPhone SE specification. It seems that chipmakers are keen, too. The Vice President, Wireless Communications and Connectivity Division at Broadcom Vijay Nagarajan has it that the 6GHz band could in fact be disruptive for Wi-Fi users since the last twenty years.
With better network comes better gadgets that depends on speedy internet connection to reach their full potentials. AR/VR devices as well as wearables can also be well enhanced and maxed out to make the most out of the technology when this is achieved.

Vijay Nagarajan said “The Wi-Fi 6E brand for 6 GHz Wi-Fi will let consumers know that their Wi-Fi experience is about to get even better.”
As per Jayanthi Srinivasan, Director of Product Management, Cisco Meraki:
“Wi-Fi has changed the world, and we are excited to work with Wi-Fi Alliance to ensure Wi-Fi will continue changing the world. Wi-Fi 6’s growth into the 6 GHz spectrum is a game changer for two reasons – the availability of the additional channels and the ability to finally use 160Mhz for high bandwidth applications like AR and VR; this provides enormous opportunities to build new applications and experiences for both consumers and businesses.”
Another claim which isn’t mainstream is the fact that the next-gen iPhone SE (2021) model could sport a bigger display even though the aforementioned analysts didn’t believe this to be true stating that the device hadn’t been mentioned in any discussions with companies that supply Apple.
But with better Wi-Fi standards, there will obviously be the need to upgrade home equipment such as routers to work with the modern and faster technology and also if the iPhone 13 series feature it, that could potentially add some US$100 more to the device’s price-tag if that makes sense.
