If you’re an avid reader of Brumpost, you’ll remember we made a report some times ago about Apple wanting to launch its own over-ear headphones which as at then no one knew what they would be called or anything like that, leaker Jon Prosser might have shed more light onto that in his new Twitter post where he also mentioned the pricing of the device.
AirPods might be a great branding name which Apple wouldn’t want to throw away anytime soon which is probably why the company is incorporating the name on to its new rumored headphones. Meanwhile, Beats has a “Studio” branding to one of its headsets which makes us wonder if Apple is planning to compete with its subsidiary.
But whatever it is, the pricing of the device is in the region of US$349 when it is finally ready to go on sale but Prosser doesn’t seems to know when and even in terms of the design of the headphone, nothing official is known but numerous speculations have been circulating all over the internet with 3D renders of the look and feel of the device. But noise cancellation will definitely be a good addition to this one because the “Studio” branding should make the device’s audio capability top notch.
Looks like Apple is sticking with the “AirPods” branding for their new over-ear headphones.

Prosser has previously been able to leak the iPhone SE, its name, and its launch date as well as that of the 13-inch MacBook Pro. He also confirmed that Apple’s latest notebook wouldn’t make the jump to 14 inches, too. With that in mind, we’re inclined to think he might well have this latest leak correct, too based on his reputation as a reliable leakster. But in the meantime, ensure you subscribe so as to never miss out when we have more news about the Apple AirPods Studio (or whatever it will be called again).
