The Sony PlayStation 5 seems to be making headlines everywhere and as the company plans to drop it’s big console yet again, an hacked code found on the company’s official website showed that sales of the new console will be limited to one per-customer.
“You can only purchase one version of the PS5 Console: Disc or Digital,” the code said. “You have already added one PS5 console to your cart.”
This is the new development as Sony is said to already be ramping up production of it’s console in order to meet potential demands. The company is said have ordered 50% more consoles than what it had originally planned to ship which leads to some outlets predicting the number of units which Sony could ship before the end of the ear 2020.
This follows a report last week that Sony was ramping up production to meet potential demand. Sony reportedly ordered 50% more consoles than what it had originally planned to ship, leading some outlets to boost their predictions for the number of units Sony could ship before the end of the year.

Initially, Sony said it was looking at 6 million units but then there came Bloomberg Japan’s edition which reported that the company could ship up to 10 million game consoles b the end of the year 2020.
As the ramp is on-going following the feud between fans of the PlayStation and XBox who have been anticipating about the PS5 and Xbox Series X availability due to the state of the coronavirus worldwide. While that is on, it should be remembered that gaming platforms saw a big spike this year alone as many people were locked within and needed to keep themselves entertained.
Sony apparently is trying to avoid a similar situation when their newest console releases ahead of the holiday season.
