There have been a newly leaked information about a forthcoming flagship device from Realme which is expected to sport some pretty cool features and fascinating specs.
First spotted back in December of the year 2020 when a device with the model number RMX2202 was revealed, the supposed flagship smartphone has reappeared now on the TENAA certification website in China where a better glimpse about the designs of the device is being revealed.

The device which will is reported to go with the moniker “Race” has a quite similar design common to modern Android device and that is a hole-punch camera cut-out right at the top-left corner of the devices display which is made of AMOLED technology with an under-display fingerprint sensor.
As for the camera units of the Realme RMX2202, there isn’t much to be known as the leaked image isn’t showing too clearly however, there seems to be an elongated flash unit with something that looks like a triple to quad rear camera setup.

The initial leaks of the RMX2202 through GSMArena is quite different from the new one which might mean two different devices unless there is a pro and a non-pro in this respect.

Since this is a suspected “Premium” flagship device, one would expect nothing but some pretty cool premium-grade specifications and that includes the fact that the device could sport the new-gen Snapdragon 888 chipset and also a 12GB of RAM coupled with a 256GB of internal storage.
Android 11 is definitely going to be shipped with this device out of the box with the current Realme UI version 2.0 and there would definitely be a “Pro” version since that is the new trend that every smartphone companies now rides on.
Further revelations has pointed to the fact that this device could sport a massive 6.81-inch display which is definitely going to be an OLED panel with a 3K resolution support and 160Hz refresh rate but that in itself could just be the “Pro” version whereas the base model could have some of its specs trimmed down so as to reduce the pricing.
Speaking of the Realme Race Pro now, the same Snapdragon 888 chipset with 5G built-in will be on board and its 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM with storage variants that range between 128GB, 256GB and 512GB with a massive 5000mAh battery and 125W of blazing fast charging.
The availability of this device outside of China is yet unknown but that’s likely the region that will first get the device which could eventually be renamed in other regions or could just remain the same depending on the intel we get about it overtime.
The device will however make its debut during the Chinese Springs Festival on Feb. 12th according to executives from Realme and until Friday, we’ll keep revealing further details about the device and whatever it’s finally called – if the Realme Race isn’t the name the Chinese maker decides to go with.
