News about the OnePlus 9 series’ been flying about in the news lately and as the release date draw nearer, more leaks and interesting features of the device gets revealed. One of those is a new leak from WinFuture which published a number of official press renders of the device which is expected to debut on March 23rd.
OnePlus initially released a teaser video of the device earlier this week however there haven’t been any further view of the device from multiple angles a well as in its color variations.
One thing I’ve constantly noticed about the renders being shown online about the OnePlus 9 series is their consistency. We can see the new camera arrangement which is the major tweak from the back of the device as well as some other rearrangements such as the camera placement and so forth.
The OnePlus 9 Pro for example is expected to come with a slightly curved 6.7-inch display while the OnePlus 9 (base model) will have a smaller 6.5-inch display.

That’s about the extent of the spec details in this leak; WinFuture speculates that the 9 may use a plastic chassis rather than metal, but it’s hard to say for sure based on these images.

While not so much information is yet known about the OnePlus 9 series, it’s obvious that the company is partnering with camera maker Hasselblad with both devices sporting a 50MP Sony IMX789 sensor as the primary sensor.
That’s an unusually high resolution count for an ultrawide, but as Lau demonstrates with some side-by-side images, those extra pixels might allow for more aggressive distortion correction and cropping.
Aside the camera spec, the other thing on the render includes the device’s color options which includes Black, olive green and metallic silver for the OnePlus 9 Pro while the base model OnePlus 9 comes in Black, black-blue and purple.
