The newly introduced Apple TVOS BETA which was unveiled on Monday has being unleashed with a powerful feature which makes it quiet amazing as expected. This feature would be a Voice Dictation.
The Apple TV fourth edition being a text entry oriented gadget had made it quiet a complaint for users while many video streamers supports for Siri wasn’t supporting a voice dictation for a quick search box completion and user account entry. This new function was seen as some kind of complement which would make the gadget quiet amazing.
After creating the much expected Dictation functionality, Apple tvOS 9.2 beta 3 would allow you to speak straight into Siri remote in care you want to enter text straight to any field that previously required a slow and tough series of swipes and click across a horizontal row of letters.
This dictations supports the spelling of things like usernames and passwords in addition to quick word entry in search boxes as demonstrated in the MacRumors-produced video above. The update also introduces the ability to search the App Store from anywhere in the Apple TV interface by holding the Siri button and speaking commands like “Search the App Store for Plex” or “What games are in the App Store?”
Another feature which was added was Bluetooth keyboard functions, iCloud photo Libraries, and live photos. It also introduces the ability to group apps into folders on the Apple TV home screen just like iOS.
Apple TVs are expected to start getting updates for the tvOS 9.2 later this spring though an official date is being rumoured to be around march 15th but all the same, the wait ends this year.
