Samsung is experimenting with its One UI 4 Beta based on the new Android 12 OS and it’s available for beta testers in all regions where the update is available for test.
According to a report, the update will bear the ZUK1 firmware version and according to the update’s changelog, there’s a long list of bug fixes and software optimizations being done via the update.
One of such is the performance lag when a user switches to QHD resolution on their Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphone.
There’s also a Wi-Fi hotspot functionality problem as well as a fingerprint recognition issue after reboot all of which will be fixed via the update.
The full list is presented in the screenshot below.
The update is about 807MB in size and will also include November 1 security patch.
Samsung is also working on expanding the update to its new foldable such as the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Z Flip 3 even though there isn’t a detailed timeline about when or if other devices will be eligible for the update.
