Anyone that currently owns an Xbox wireless controller needs to handle them with care and keep them safe because ruining the one you have currently might lead you to have none as getting a replacement will be very hard to come over the next coming weeks and even months according to a new report broken by PCMag.
According to another report by VGC, Xbox wireless controllers are hard to find right now or almost nonexistent in countries such as the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Australia, and even the United States too.
If you visit Amazon US, the number of controllers you’ll get is limited in color options and shipping won’t start until late or early August.
Microsoft on the other hand has confirmed scarcity as a global problem. “We know it may be hard finding Xbox Wireless Controllers right now due to supply disruptions,” said a Microsoft spokesperson to VGC.

“We’re working as fast as possible with our manufacturing and retail partners to improve this. Please check with your local retailer for availability.”
Other channels to get your hands on one is by visiting Microsoft Store or Best Buy but it’s all about the fastest fingers as stocks are running out faster than expected. The fact that Microsoft even acknowledge this could result in panic purchases with more people looking to grab an extra pair.
