Yesterday we published about Meizu 18 news which is a tease of the upcoming flagship, the Meizu 18 series but nothing much was known about the device aside the fact that it will sport a 6.2-inch display.
However, what’s even interesting is the fact that the device will also have a “Pro” model which will have some higher specifications such as Snapdragon 888 chipset and could be announced as soon as March 3rd as the company continues to tease more information of the device.
On Thursday, the company revealed some of the Meizu 18 and 18 Pro specs. Now, we have confirmation that the 18 Pro will come with a Snapdragon 888. Below are two of the images teased by the Chinese smartphone maker.
Aside the high-end chipset, the Meizu 18 Pro will also come with the LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage which will enhance the performances of the device.
The company also teases onboard software called “One Mind 8XX” that’s supposed to optimize the phone’s power and performance, based on reports.
The announcement of the Meizu 18 series is expected to take place next week in China. The base model will sport a lower-end Snapdragon 870 (which is highly powerful for that matter) while the Meizu 18 Pro will have the SD888 chipset – the same on the recently announced Galaxy S21 series.
Elsewhere, we’ll likely see a triple camera system on the device with the primary sensor being a 64MP snapper with 12MP (presumably ultrawide) secondary sensor and also a 5MP (perhaps macro or depth) camera.
Nothing official is yet known about the Meizu 18 Pro’s camera but information about the device’s camera could be revealed in subsequent times before the official debut of the device by March 3rd if everything go according to plan.
