The Facebook co-founder and CEO launched his very own Podcast just the same day that his company had issued it’s latest quarterly earnings report. But if you’re a big fan of Mr Zuckerberg, then it’s likely you’ve heard the first two episodes of his podcast over the past few months.
Now available on Spotify, the Tech & Society with Mark Zuckerberg podcast is essentially audio version of the video conversation he’s had with experts about the impact that technologies have on the world at large.
In the first episode of his podcast, he featured Havard Law Professor Jonathan Zittrain (recorded in February) and then the second was with a European publisher Axel Springer’s CEO Mathias Döpfner (recorded earlier this April).
Although, he had earlier posted videos of these chats on his Facebook page and they’ve all garnered under a million views which is somewhat low for his big page audience totalling 118 Million Followers. The audio might just be a better strategic move in getting across to the right audience.
As part of his 2019 “New Year Resolution” having conversations with people was part of those. He planned to host a series of public discussions about the future of technology in the society, the opportunity, the challenges, the hopes and even the anxieties. But just in case you must have watched any of those videos, then you just be aware there isn’t anything new other than waiting for the next episode of his podcast
