Lamborghini as we all know makes all those supercars that are powerful enough to rule the road staying at top while racing since they are powered with extremely light body chassis and V12 engines that sits conveniently in the carbon fibre car. Now in order to mark its founder’s 100th years birthday, Automobili Lamborghini SPA had created the powerful Centenario to commemorate that. Ferruccio Lamborghini the founder of the company had created a legacy which still exists today.
The car was unveiled to the general public during the Geneva 2016 motor show. Just 1st of March 2016, the beautiful car was unveiled and thus is going trendy as the company had announced how many units it would make. Lamborghini Centenario isnt going to be like Aventador or Huracan. Its a limited edition ride.
The name Centenario didn’t come by accident. Its an adjective meaning Centenary that also relates to a period of 100 years as in the case of Ferruccio Lamborghini the company founder.
Centenario LP770-4 Lamborghini will produce a limited number of 40 cars that has been split equally between the coupes and roadster versions.
DesignThe Centenario LP770-4 is roughly based on the Aventador, although is still slightly longer than even the 750HP Super Veloce (SV) edition.
The huge air scoops on the front bonnet are a functional aid for down force onto the front axle. The headlights, side skirts and wheels arches also get air ducts, which provide air flow to the rear radiators.
The entire body is made of lightweight carbon fibre, and it also has amonocoque chassis. The side skirts, front splitter, wheel arches and rear diffuser are all functional and coloured in matte carbon. All of this is still 1,520 kg – 55 kilograms lighter than the Aventador.

The Lamborghini Centenario LP770-4 uses Lamborghini’s 770 PS (567 kW; 760 bhp) 6.5 litre 60° V12 engine weighing 235 kg. Known internally as the L539, which is also found in the Lamborghini Aventador.

Max. power770 PS (570 kW; 760 bhp) @ 8,250 rpm
Power to weight508 bhp (379 kW; 515 PS) per tonne.
Speed goes a long way and the mid-engine V12 produces a 759HP.

Interior

The interior of Lamborghini Centenario is well fixed up in luxury. The car has as usual a powerful multimedia system enhanced via a touchscreen display which enables for the ease of access to infotainment system of the car. All seats are well leather fitted and fully air conditional. The steering wheel has the usual Lamborghini flat base. The dashboard is made of suede-like materials that also make it more attractive and gorgeous to own.  The car is fitted with electronically foldable side mirrors and internal mirror. The speedometer is been more redesigned to look more attractive thereby showcasing exactly how speedy you’ve been while handling the vehicle.
The Centenario’s interior includes carbon-fiber sport seats and generous amounts of stitched leather and micro suede. Springing for the near-$2-million Centenario over the workaday Aventador also nets you an upgraded infotainment system that features a new 10.1-inch high-definition touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Wi-Fi connectivity. well the car might be the excellent trend much awaited for this long.

Price…

The car is announced to be made into 40 and split evenly between Coupé and Roadster. This mean 20 each for model. The car therefore will be sold at a luxurious price of $1.9M. That’s quiet expensive especially if you’ve been saving a long way enough to find till this day that there is a little increment in the pricing. Well then, Lambo had never disappointed in making those eye catching and yet super powerful cars. Buy the Centenario and you won’t ever regret owning one. Although there are just 40 units and its been rumoured that all had been pre-sold which might make you personally order for the 41st. That aint bad though in case rumour is true.
