While the majority of these stories are just rumor-based, the newest we have is that the next-gen iPhone 13 series will come with some cool improvements over the current models which includes the WiFi 6E technology which will give it an added benefit of a 6GHz band.
There has been news circulating the internet about Apple finally upgrading the device from Wi-Fi 6 to Wi-Fi 6E as with the iPhone 12 currently and then the next-gen iPhone 13. The previous Wi-Fi 5 found on the previous iPhone 11 was not as fast as the one found on the iPhone 12 series which gave a hint about the next upgrade that Apple might be giving to the new device.
While the changes of the Wi-Fi 6E compared to Wi-Fi 6 are minimal, there will be an added 6GHz band which should result in the increased band and fewer interferences for devices that use it.
The report also mentioned the inclusion of the LiDAR sensor on the iPhone 13 even though we don’t know whether Apple will continue the trend of only adding the technology to the high-end models of its devices just as seen in the current iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max both of which only comes with the LiDAR technology.

The number of camera sensors the devices will have might just be the same as the current model (triple set-up) though the specifications of those cameras might change considering the fact that Apple makes upgrades to its camera systems every year.
Also, there might be a smaller notch compared to the current iPhone 12 series and the display sizes and technology might remain the same with the devices when they are finally announced in a couple of months to come but we don’t know how many models will be released as the “Mini” might still retain its identity.
