It’s just a matter of weeks before Apple shows us what the new iPhone 13 series will look like and what to expect from the device when it’s finally released but there has been an unending list of rumors and even a leaked mock-up of what the device will look like even though nothing much about the specifications since most of that will be based on the iOS 15 and the next-gen A15 Bionic chipset that’ll come with the device.
The newest report on the iPhone 13 series is the fact that Apple will add a new feature called ProRes video recording to the new smartphone line. The ProRes video recording capacity according to the report will enhance mobile video recording and take things to a whole new level.
There is also going to be a Portrait video feature as well as a new filters system to make things impressive. All these three major camera and video-recording feature is expected to help the company attract new customers who are willing to switch from their older iPhones and upgrade to the newer models.
Still, on the ProRes feature, it’s expected to be a high-quality video codec that can help boost editing performance and image quality while using lesser storage space.

According to Bloomberg‘s report, the ProRes will provide a combination of mainstream, real-time editing performance, impressive image quality, and reduced storage rates while taking full advantage of multicore processing and feature fast, reduced-resolution decoding modes. All Apple ProRes codecs support all frame sizes (including SD, HD, 2K, 4K, and 5K) at full resolution.
As for the physical aspect of the device itself, there have been some reported few tweaks which include a smaller notch and slimmer bezels. Apple could also include a fast refresh rate on the display of the high-end models but rumors about the iPhone 13 not having charging ports might not be so true considering the newness of its MagSafe accessory although the company has started yanking off the charging bricks from its devices box.
Another rumored feature that’ll come with the iPhone 13 series is Cinematic Video which can allow you to change the amount of blur or bokeh effect of the background just like when you take a still portrait picture.
The iPhone 13 Pro models may also feature the LTPO display with a high refresh rate. This will enable the always-on display and other cool features that’ll enhance the users’ experience. Anyway, I can’t wait for the release of the device already.
