HTC had earlier announced back in March some details about the Android 9 Pie update and the status of the OS on it’s devices. The company expects a release for the U11, U11+ and also the U12+ devices which will start during the second quarter of the year.
While that is still on the waiting list of customers, the company is already giving out specific information about the time they should expect the updates on their HTC smartphones according to a Twitter report giving by the company.
So its expected that those with the HTC U11 would have their Android 9 Pie update by late May while those using the U11+ will start receiving their updates by June as well as those with the higher variant, the U12+.
HTC which is one of the earl adopters of the Android OS and enjoyed public success in the early stages of the operating system can be relied upon to deliver absolutely great solutions to customers. While the announcement is official, the company should keep up with it’s promise to deliver the latest Android OS to it’s customers at least before the next Android Q version is released officially.
