Even though he owns one of the most biggest and well engineered companies in the world, Elon Musk doesn’t like AIs and feels they would take our jobs in the future despite the fact that our population will keep growing.
Anyway, this isn’t another Elon Musk’s rant about AIs taking our jobs. This is about an innovation happening already in India. Although the tech triumph might mean jobs would be replaced by machines in the near future still.
Now in New Delhi, India, a restaurant rolled out a pair of robots called Champa and Chameli whose primary roles are to take orders and serve customers…WOW!
Mr Basa who owns the particular restaurant claims that the Robots aren’t new though but are still first of their kinds in the whole world.

This is apparently due to the fact that these robots can roam around freely, while at the same time they are also made in India, unlike other robots that are typically imported from China.
According to Basa, “Though there are several restaurants in India where robots are serving customers, Robo Chef is probably the first restaurant where there is no special track for them. They can move on in any uniform surface.” He adds, “The robots have 17 kinds of sensors that sense the environment, heat, even smoke, identify persons, greet and welcome people.”
With that being said, it’s worth noting that there are in fact robot-run hotel in Japan where you’d have little to human contact whatsoever because from the reception to room servicing is done by robots. Even these robots takes your luggage and show you your room. The future is definitely AI.
