Microsoft released an update meant to certain issues among which includes printers crashing Windows 10 computers which would cause a blue-screen.
Microsoft says in the update note that the issue only affected certain printers using some apps even though the company didn’t specify which.
The effects seems to have impact on printers from manufacturers like Kyocera, Ricoh and Zebra. Even though there are some third-party fixes around this issues, nothing best a core software fix from the developer itself and that’s why Microsoft has stepped in to answer your cry and help get rid of this unwanted issue.
If this issue has been affecting you, you can download the update by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, and clicking Check for Updates. Hopefully, after updating, your printer and computer can go back to being friends again. May the ink once again meet the paper, and your computer not have to be rebooted from a hard crash.
