Huawei’s problem especially with the US Government and other western countries might hinder it’s aims at becoming the top mobile vendor all over the world. A news reported via Reuters claimed that Samsung might be capitalizing on the difficult situations of Huawei to grow it’s own 5G programs to the next level.

With so many roadblocks already on the path of Huawei to becoming a top smartphone vendor globally which would have enhanced it’s 5G networks, Samsung’s intervention might be a big boost to enhancing the company’s sales especially in it’s forthcoming smartphone launch.

With countries such as the United States, Japan, EU and Australia already banning Huawei products all because of it’s alleged political relationship with the Chinese government, this might be a big hindrance to the company’s growth internationally. Huawei has continuously denied Beijing’s implication but, led by the U.S., many countries are blocking Huawei from getting involved with 5G infrastructure.

This failure or roadblock is what Samsung wants to take advantage of according to source which states that “Samsung is moving high-performing managers and numerous employees to the network division from it’s handset unit”. A void Huawei is being forced to create might be filled up by Samsung

The report also mentions that potential customers are already noticing Samsung’s efforts. Orange, which operates in 27 countries, is set to run 5G trials with Samsung equipment this year, after the company CFO was satisfied with the progress in Japan, during her visit there. “Samsung is doing a big push in Europe at the moment“, another source said.

In order to become competitive, Samsung aims to invest $22 billion in its 5G mobile technology efforts over the next three years.
