Aside sending aides to Europe, Huawei has been making headlines these days especially as we await the release of their next flagship, the P40 Series which will debut tomorrow 26th March.
New report has it that the device will be equipped with the latest upgrade of the company’s Skin, the EMUI 10.1 built right on top of the Android 10 OS though this time, without the Google Play Service unlike the older P30 Series released earlier last year 2019.

A Weibo account used for the EMUI on Weibo posted a teaser banner which shows the EMUI 10.1 mentioning the iteration of Huawei’s Android skin which is supposed to be announced along with the P40 Series just tomorrow.
What the image failed to tell us are important features and specifications of this upgrades as well as the UI features to expect with it. All t just said was “Wisdom, Wonderful Unlimited” based on translation from Chinese.

If you look back at the history of EMUI releases, we can clearly get the picture that the new improved x.1 version of the software have been debuting on the Huawei P series for the last two years.
A good example to take into account would be since the release of the P20 series back in 2018, it debuted with the EMUI 8.1 and then the same happened with the P30 Series with the EMUI 9.1 and of course we’d expect history to repeat itself with this newer model with the EMUI 10.1 if that makes any sense.
While this isn’t a major release, there possibly won’t be so much gigantic upgrade in the system’s look ad feel maybe just few tweaks here and there and some security upgrade to make the device work better and optimize the functionalities of the device.
If we are to look back at the last year’s EMUI 9.1, there was the inclusion of the EROFS file system, then the GPU Turbo 3.0 and then the ARK Compiler.
The Huawei Mobile Service or HMS might be coming to the core of the OS this time around as the company plans to drift even farther away from Google Mobile Service or GMS.
