Yeah! Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro are making their way to different regions except for China. Earlier this week, the devices were rolled into stores in Malaysia and the next destination is Romania in Europe.

Rather than just placing the smartphones on it’s website, Huawei had decided to partner with QuickMobile.ro which is an established online retailer in Romania to help sell the devices.

Even though the device is a really awesome smartphone, Huawei hasn’t bee able to make big publicity on the devices and it’s sales would probably not be as big compared to last year with millions of the Mate 20 series sold worldwide not until the company’s products were banned in the US due to trade war with China.

Both the Mate 30 and the Mate 30 Pro would be sold for 3,600 Lei (€760) for the base 6 GB RAM + 128 GB ROM variant whereas the Mate 30 Pro starts at 5,000 Lei (€1,050) for the base variant with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM. In addition to these, higher memory and storage variants of the two handsets are also available in the country for which the prices are as follows:

• Mate 30 (8 GB + 128 GB): 3,800 Lei (€800)
• Mate 30 Pro (8 GB + 256 GB): 5,500 Lei (€1,160)

Initially, we’d expect the price to be in the region of 800 Euros or higher but it’s like Huawei wants the device to be as affordable and premium as possible. And if you are in Romania delivery will only take a bout 7 Days after you’d place your order.

Noteworthy, none of the Mate 30 variant launched in Romania support 5G, as of now, they are limited only to the Chinese market.

Also you should note that the Huawei Mate 30 Series aren’t shipped with Google Play Services which means you won’t get those G-Application suites. Even though the Huawei App Gallery is growing, it still doesn’t have Facebook and other popular applications like WhatsApp, Youtube and so forth.

One sad news is that there was a workaround which allows the installation of the Google Play store on the Mate 30 series but nowadays, that doesn’t work any longer. And even if the user manages to install them somehow, some services like Google Pay that require an online certificate to function properly, won’t work at all after a recent update.

Despite the fact that this device is so gigantic and robust with features and what makes it a device anyone seeking a premium smartphone would look for such as it’s amazing camera and great waterfall display. The US Ban really hit Huawei hard and the result is this awesome smartphone you can’t buy even though Romanians might give it a shot.
