Ren Zhengfei is the founder and current CEO if Huawei Technologies a giant Chinese telecom company and the executive in a recent interview he had with the South China Morning Post made it known that he’s rather a puppet boss than a spiritual one in the company.
Among other things, he just wishes t be forgotten at some point in his life whereby he is able to take a sip of hot coffee in a cafe without anyone noticing who he is.
Ren Zhengfei went on to say that “I’m just an old man. What’s the point of remembering me? People should think more about the future and the world.” But Mr Ren is a very big man and he will forever be remembered to being the founder of one of the biggest Chinese companies ever.
His comment might have political meanings though but who cares, the old man just want to lead a long life without people poking into his daily life.

Huawei has being one of the biggest Chinese companies to receive the big US-China trade war as the US President ordered the company to be banned from selling it’s products in the US as well as banning any partnership between the company and any US-Based company which ultimately led to the demise of Google play services on Huawei smartphones since summer last year.

With numerous battle with the US Huawei had faced a lot hindrances which had led to the founder stepping out from his management position behind the stages but then took the reigns of the company again after years.
Earlier this year, the US tried to further hamper Huawei’s situation by limiting its chip supply through TSMC, the largest contract chip manufacturer.
Despite certain long time employees calling Ren “the definite leader, the spiritual leader in Huawei,” he considers himself to be just a puppet to the Rotating Chairmen. In Huawei’s top brass, there are three Rotating Chairman that cycle between one another to lead the company. The constant cycling is done to prevent ideas and creativity to lower under single management and apparently Ren abides by them as well.
