LG Velvet running on the T-Mobile platform will launch pretty soon and the device will be powered by a mid-range chipset while the pricing will be under the US$600 price mark.
The device availability is reported to be by September 10th whereby customers can grab the T-Mobile LG Velvet for US$24.50 per month for 24 months with zero money down for qualifying subscribers.
Also if you’ve got an eligible smartphone, you can opt for a trade in which will further bring the price down to about US$300 which all makes sense as it’s almost the half of the initial retail price point of US$588. But purchasing a new line on your account will also slash the price into half assuming you have no device to trade-in.
The device will sport a Snapdragon 765G SoC but the T-Mobile version will sport a different chipset by that – a MediaTek Dimensity 800 which is also very powerful. This might add to the reason why the T-Mobile’s variant will be quite cheaper than other variants as it uses a different chipset.
As for the specifications, there is nothing different with the other variants except for the aforementioned change in the device’s CPU.
