Since the early days of the LG G-Series, the South Korean mobile division had been underrated and not usually rated high beside other smartphone makers like Apple, Samsung or Huawei. But that doesn’t stop the company from releasing awesome flagship devices every year.
The next big thing being the LG V60 ThinQ and leaks are emerging right and left throughout the Internet but one obvious leak from Evan Blass, the Notorious leaker has some more interesting details which will make the upcoming device more interesting to buyers.
In his tweet about the device, EVAN. Lass posted an image which is probably meant for toeb promotion of the device.
According to the image, the LG V60 ThinQ is shown as having a four-channel microphone system which are located at different parts of the device such as the bottom which is the primary location for the mic and then another is positioned at the top basically for noise cancellations while two others are located near the rear camera setup.
However, it appears all four microphones will be able to capture audio when recording. One thing the V-Series have been known for since inception is making cinematic videos and the new inclusion of four microphones is definitely going to help improve the audio input of the device.
But it’s not only about the four microphones. Since the posted image is transparent, we’re able to see other specifications of the device. For example the rear camera module setup is horizontally arranged while the front facing camera is housed at the center-front of the device right within a notch.
The most amazing thing about the LG V60 ThinQ is the battery which according to the tease is a massive 5000mAh battery. This is definitely a big leap forward from the previous 4000mAh battery found on the LG V50s ThinQ. What will complement the giant battery will be a support for fast charging which is becoming very popular in flagship devices nowadays and LG will be committing a big tech-crime if it doesn’t include this.
Okay with that said, there seems to be an inclusion of a 3.5mm headphone jack right at the bottom of the device right beside the USB-C port. Most flagship makers have long ditched the headphone jack because most of them now manufacture wireless Bluetooth headphones. But the headphone jack might also be present in other flagships this year such as the Galaxy S20 Series for example.
While it’s been rumored that LG wants to kill the G-series, the news is yet unconfirmed but the rumor has it that’s the South Korean company wants to start afresh with another Series while keeping the V-series around.
But anyway there isn’t any official launch date for the new series yet and the company even cancelled its MWC 2020 attendance for whatever reason.
