The Huawei Mate 30 is coming and you should brace yourself. Aside the iPhone 11 which we expect to get unveiled by Apple on the 10th of September, Huawei’s premium flagship is reportedly launching just 9 days afterwards which is on the 19th of September.
According to reports gotten from Russian publication, Hi-Tech, Dr. Wang Chenglu, President of Software Development at Huawei said the Mate 30 series will be unveiled in Europe. One obvious thing about the device is the fact that the new Mate 30 series will be launched with the yet unannounced HiSilicon Kirin 990 processor.
Another news which is actually bad is the fact that the big smartphone will be launched without any Google services…pre-installed. When it comes to the Mate 30 Lite, which is believed to be the international version of the nova 5i Pro, the report suggests that this might be the first Huawei smartphone to run on the company’s own HarmonyOS.
Other things we know so far is that just as the older Mate 20 series, the Mate 30 series will have multiple camera setup and a big screen that could span from 5.8-inch OLED screen up to about 7.0-inch OLED screen for the largest variant of the device.
What would be interesting will be the experimentation of the Harmony OS in Huawei’s own device even though Huawei had claimed it won’t launch it’s OS soon in as much as it still has access to use the Google’s Android OS. And in fact, the US government had given Huawei another 90 days to work with US Based companies. But as we learn more, we’ll publish more on the stories surrounding the launch of the next big Huawei smartphone, the Mate 30.
