Huawei P50 series has been delayed for a reason known by many of us and if you do not, its due to the US sanction on the Chinese tech giant however there have been a number of leaks and speculations on the look and feel of the smartphone when it debut.
Thursday’s keynote at the company’s HQ was preceded by a slight teaser render of the device’s rear view and it looked somehow weird to say the truth.
I know that smartphone makers are experimenting with unique design aesthetics and camera placements and we saw that with the newly announced Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra with its humongous camera module with a rear viewfinder, well Huawei is doing something weird as well though not as humongous as Xiaomi’s.
The Huawei P50 will supposedly have a dual camera sections in circular design. Each of the circles will include the camera sensors. The first one will house a single giant primary sensor rumored to be a 108MP lens with f/1.8 aperture then there will be 50MP sensor and maybe another smaller sensor to make up a triple system at the back of the device.

But aside that, nothing much is yet known about the device even though we know it’ll be powered by the latest HarmonyOS which Huawei already released with a number of smartphones with 4G capabilities yesterday.
Other things we know for sure is that the device will also come in a multiple variants which will include the base model – P50 and then a mid-range variant – P50 Pro and then the top-tier variant which will be the P50 Pro Plus all of which could have a asking price tag of about US$700 and above.
