Disney has reportedly cut ties with The Mandalorian star Gina Carano in a statement the company released on Wednesday evening which according to a spokesperson stated there is no further relationship between her and the movie company.
“Gina Carano is not currently employed by Lucasfilm and there are no plans for her to be in the future,” a Lucasfilm spokesperson told The Verge.
The reason for the termination of her contract is over a series of content which she had posted on the internet which includes anti-Semitic rhetorics.
Some of these comments were captured via her Twitter feed prompting a Lucasfilm’s spokesperson to denounce her action as well as the cutting ties with her as an employee of the company.

“Her social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable.”
She's transphobic, anti-mask, alt-right who parrots QAn*n conspiracies, doesn't believe in systematic racism, and now shares anti-semitic images. @starwars @Disney #FireGinaCarano pic.twitter.com/wi4rbwXwvs

Carano has been criticized over and over again for making anti-Semitic posts on her social media account. There are also instances whereby she made transphobic comments on her account when she listed her pronoun as being “Beep/Bop/Boop”. The post was later removed after she had a conversation with co-star Pedro Pascal.
