There have been numerous hypes and leaks around the Microsoft Xbox Series X but even with that Microsoft seems to be finally giving a sneak-pick with 13 game footages which are scheduled tot be released this fall for its upcoming game console.

Although this is definitely a good news for game lovers out there but do note that majority of the game trailers being showed off come from various third-party game with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Madden 21 being few of the biggest on the lost. Bigger reveals — like Halo Infinite, which is expected to be the flagship launch title for the new console — won’t come until a later event planned for July.

With these trailer, we can definitely see what the Xbox Series X can do as Microsoft highlights the graphical capacity of the game console which comes with high technology such as ray-tracing lighting effects, 8K resolution and a much faster loading. But without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, the list!!!

ASSASSIN’S CREED VALHALLA

This goes first being the biggest name on the list. The high resolution graphics and animation of the games makes it so real which showed the prowess of the Xbox Series X’s capability. The game meets expectation as its really epic with a lot of Viking pillaging, with glimpses at raiding an English fortress, leading a band of warriors, and lots of axes.

BRIGHT MEMORY: INFINITE

This is a sci-fi first person shooter game whereby the fighter also gets to find the best weapons to fight off fantasy monsters. The game is developed by Zeng Xiancheng who makes up the FYQD personal studio. The game had earlier on been on Steam Early Access but its of course making a leap to the new Xbox Series X taking advantage of the DirectX Raytracing for effects.

CALL OF THE SEA

Call of the Sea is a first-person adventure puzzle game set in the 1930s that has players exploring a mysterious island. Think serious Firewatch vibes here with even more impressive-looking scenery.

CHORUS

Chorus is a single-player space combat shooter game which is packed with fun and lots of interesting graphics and cool effects that makes it interesting. Meanwhile the game is said to be released by the year 2021 so be patient about that one.

DIRT 5

Dirt 5 is a racing game that lets you unleash your drift skills against opponents and racing against time. I personally enjoy playing racing games as they’re fun altogether.

MADDEN NFL 21

The Madden game looks even much better because of the game console its coming on. EA announced that the Madden NFL 21 would be coming to the Xbox Series X for free.

SCARLET NEXUS

The most anime of any of the games Microsoft announced today, Scarlet Nexus looks like a cartoon come to life. Step into the shoes of Yuito Sumeragi, a psychokinetic warrior who can fling things around with his mind and explore the techno-futuristic city of New Himuka.

SCORN

Described as an “atmospheric first-person horror adventure game,” Scorn looks like it was ripped right out of an H.R. Giger painting. There’s not much actual gameplay on display here, but it certainly looks creepy enough.

SECOND EXTINCTION

The game sets in the periods whereby Mutant Dinosaurs have taken over the entire planet which require Second Extinction player to fight back to take the planet from the dinosaurs. The game has really cool special effects which are interesting and also a lot of guns to play with because we’re dealing with dinosaurs obviously.

THE ASCENT

This RPG game is set in a Cyberpunk world which had collapsed from the grips of Mega corporations which requires players to fight through enemies alone or with friends in order to find out what went wrong and win actual freedown.

THE MEDIUM

The Medium is a “psychological horror game” from Bloober Team — the studio behind Blair Witch, Observer, and Layers of Fear. Players take the role of Marianne, a medium caught between two worlds: the real one and the spirit world. The studio promises more details coming soon.

VAMPIRE: THE MASQUERADE – BLOODLINES 2

This is the sequel to the Cult classic RPG, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 which puts the game players to rise through underground vampire society in Seattle. Players will be able to choose how they want to advance in the world, be it through brutal violence, political cunning, or… dancing?

YAKUZA: LIKE A DRAGON

A new title in Sega’s Yakuza series, Yakuza: Like a Dragon kicks off a new storyline without series mainstay Kiryu, whose saga ended with Yakuza 6. While already out for the PS4 in Japan, Sega is promising that Like a Dragon will be available as a launch title on Xbox Series X. Additionally, Like a Dragon will also support cross-save functionality between the Xbox One and Xbox Series X versions of the game, in addition to Smart Delivery.

Among the games, Microsoft made us realise nine of them will support its cross-generational Smart Delivery program which will allow each title to offer an Xbox Series X optimized version while also being available on the Xbox One. o buying one of either console will give you the free version included.

Smart Delivery-compatible games announced today include Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Chorus, Dirt 5, Scarlet Nexus, Second Extinction, The Ascent, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, and Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Of the remainingfour games, it’s not clear whether they’re simply Xbox Series X exclusives that won’t be available on the Xbox One (hence, no need for Smart Delivery) or whether those developers simply won’t be supporting the feature, expecting players who wish to play on both consoles to buy two separate copies.

Another thing to note is that being cross-generational games means easy frame of reference for better comparison. For example, the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be much better looking on the Series X unlike the Xbox One from 2013 but those chances will likely be more incremental at this stage, given how early on we are in the lifecycle of these consoles.
