Huawei Mate 9 release date has being a very big deal. My suggestion is that merely assuming the Huawei Mate 8 and how good it went, I can confidently deduce that the next version is going to be far better than you’d ever thought. For example, the new Huawei’s Processor HiSilicon Kirin 950 is a very speedy system on Chip which has being powering up most Huawei phones lately.
Huawei itself had highlighted the teaser video of the new Huawei Mate 9 for us to know things about the phone in advance. If you’re so in love with your present Mate 8 or Mate 7, then you might be really happy to see another big thing coming your way. As we’d expect, the phone is rumored to be coming on with a 20MP/12MP dual-lens snapper witha 4x optical zoom.
But that isn’t a real big deal to those of us in Nigeria because we’d be expecting something pretty big…i mean big battery. Considering the bad reviews of the previous Huawei Honor 8, then this might be some good point for Huawei to prove themselves as not only being a good mobile manufacturer but also a nice battery maker. We’ve seen the good Huawei Honor 8 and the P9 all awesome. Then what can be expected of the new Mate 9? Well, this is the take down.
Huawei Mate 9 Release date
Before long, Huawei made it known that it’s going to be holding a Press event on Thursday the 3rd of November 2016 in Munich and as rumors are leaking out from sources such as Pocket Lint and PhonAndroid, we might be certain that Huawei is releasing the Mate 9.
Although the maker never made mention of the name Huawei Mate 9 but the use of statements such as “new flagship device” might be a big guess if what this is going to be. Earlier, it’s being suggested that the Huawei mate 9 release date would be by December 2016.
If the phablet can be released by November 3rd, then it’s going to be a big take for those that are in love with their present Mate 8.
Although sales isn’t going to be possible as variants might need to be shipped all around the world. And in fact, online malls in Nigeria such as Konga.com or Jumia.com might not even have the phone until a given period possibly January or April 2017. Let’s hope it doesn’t get longer than that.
Likely Specs of the Huawei Mate 9: Huawei has being going more powerful this days and their ambitions to rival giants such as Apple and Samsung can be felt in their ever amazing smartphones. As far as we’re concerned, the newer version of the Huawei mate 9 will most likely feature some awesome points such as a 6 GB of RAM, a 20MP dual-lens camera, a huge curved screen, 4x optical zoom, they shouldn’t be underrated anymore. And well, Samsung on the losing end lost it’s credibilities this year with the failure of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 which busts into flames. We can assume the Mate 9 might take over the role from Note 7?
As i can reason about this, most features in the previous version of the Mate series are likely coming back to the new version but upgrades in major hardware are certain about the phone. The Release of the Huawei mate 9 is surely going to be another big deal for the company itself and not the consumers. But i’ll hope they’ve upgraded their battery to something like 4000mAh unlike the previous 3000mAh.
The screen is likely to be reduced to somewhat 5.9-inch (screen in curved and flat varieties) with a pixel density of 373 pixels per inch. and its 1080p and QHD resolutions is just going to be the starting point. Unlike the Huawei Mate 8, the Mate 9 is likely going to feature a more QHD resolution for a better user engagement with the phone considering it’s large screen of such resolution.
Although the screen size is expected to be in the 1080 x 1920, there is assumed to also be another variant with a QHD resolution of 1440 x 2560. That can be a very big deal for those looking for big screen resolution which can in turn help the performance of games to behave well in the phone. The screen size was leaked by @evleaks prior to the Huawei mate 9 release date. According to @Evleaks, the rendering of the phone is rumored to be in two variants which include the flat and the curved and that leads to the speculations that the curved are likely going to be the Mate 9 Pro. Depending on whatever Huawei might have to offer, i think it’s going to be a very big deal and this alone cannot be overlooked considering what price might come with it.
Design: We’ve seen the Huawei mate 8 and P9, the suggestion might be the same for the Huawei Mate 9 although it’s rumored to have a metal body which will make it to look somehow like the previous model. With redesigning, there are rumors that there are going to be some reshapes especially curving the rear of the phone and also stripping down along the top and bottom might be a new take in the new phone.
It may also come in about nine different colors according based on leaks and rumors from PhonAndroid, and these colors include amber gold, amber gray, ceramic white, champagne gold, mocha gold, silver, pink gold, shiny black and sky gray.
An image taken from Weibo shows the difference between the two variants (The normal Huawei Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro) which shows some significant differences such as frontal minimal bezel while the version with a curved screen has an oblong home button right below the large screen, the one with a flat display simply doesn’t instead, the logo of Huawei can be seen visibly.
Battery and the Camera: Before the Huawei mate 9 release date, we can simply pray that Huawei actually include all these amazing features in the smartphone before presenting it officially. I mean a 20MP and 12Mp cameras at the back of the phone are simply going to work wonders. The previous Huawe Mate 8 features a single 16 MP camera and I loved how clear and cool it was. This superb upgrade can be a very good thing for consumers. You should also note the 4x optical zoom to being another big change in specs of the new Mate 9.
The little rumored news from MyDrivers, has it that the Leica-Branded dual lens cameras behind the Mate 9 which look similar to Huawei P9 although refurnished and upgraded to as high as 20MP and 12MP both might be a real deal maker for those that love capturing events as they happen.
Though we should point out that as ever, more megapixels doesn’t necessarily mean higher quality. But the Huawei mate 9 release date can be a tell it all for us all.
If i should comment on this camera issue, i won’t say that the duality of the camera means a big function rather, it could be a joint task just as we’ve seen in the llikes of P9 where we’ve likely seen the 20MP RGB sensor to picking out colors and the other (likely 12MP) monochrome one for enhanced detail if you use both lenses, or for true black and white shots if you use just the monochrome sensor.
Based on a back cover leak image gotten on Weibo, the structuring of the camera lens are very visible and this can be a very good take on believing how far Huawei plan to go or have gone about their flagship device prior to the Huawei Mate 9 release date.
In the case with the battery, the thought is that Huawei is upgrading this in every ways possible. But another 3000mAh might not be a good idea for every users. When in fact Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge have about 3600mAh. Although nothing is entirely certain here but Huawei might come up with a big surprise. The phone might also support fast cahrging functionality with a support for USB-C. We hope the battery can be big enough to last long in Nigeria else, we will get angry at Huawei.
Huwaei Mate 9 software rumor: A lavish 6GB or RAM, a 2.6GHZ octa-core processor all combined with Android Nougat…well that can equal to maximum speed and better expectations. As a flagship, going to the extreme with such a huge RAM space might be a very good idea and that can actually push the Huawei mate 9 further to the fore front as there are limited phones with such a huge memory space as of now. Huawei’s Emotion UI is possibly going to be shipped along with the Mate 9 during the release date.
Other things to expect: Other features such as the presence of a microSD card slot support and a fingerprint scanner are possibly coming along. The Huawei Mate 9 release date is going to be the time whereby Huawei will unleash to us (If we’re right or Wrong) it’s memory storage which is assumed to be up to a whooping 256 GB. It’s a flagship so we can expect such big feature.
Price of the Huawei Mate 9: There are two variants of the phone. The lower end model is expected to cost around ₦160,000 NGN ($475/£390/AU$625 ) while the higher end variant which is assumed to be more luxurious is rumored to be around ₦455,000 NGN (around £1065/AU$1700 $1300). Well, that’s damn huge price. Price suggestion was gotten from a promo image in Chinese and rendered in a money changer software online.
The breakdown of the price for the variant with a 64GB of space, 4GB or RAM which costs about 3399 Yuan (about ₦176,000 / $505 / £415 / AU$660). Another huger version with a bigger memory of 128GB of storage and a 4GB of RAM is around 3899 Yuan (about ₦203,000 / $580 / £475 / AU$760)
The larger variant with a 256GB storage and a 6GB RAM is listed to be 4699 Yuan which is around (₦245,000 / $700 / £575 / AU$915).
However, prices for the 256GB Huawei Mate 9 Pro could be even higher, with reliable leaker @evleaks claiming they’ll reach ₦455,000 (around, $1300 £1065/AU$1700). The price of the Huawei Mate 9 in Nigeria can be very huge and that can be a little turn off to many but well, this is still likely going to be a proper phone that can beat others in terms of quality.
This isn’t an entirely true price and specification. We just write this based on leaked information and rumors about the new phone. So you should just keep yourself aware till the Huawei Mate 9 release date and get better news and stories all about the phone.
