Google’s cloud-based game streaming platform, Stadia is reported to be experiencing a surge in growth referencing to the number of users it got after the company gave free access for two months to further help people stay at home.
There has been about 1 million installs globally on the Stadia’s mobile app which requires a Stadia controller for ease of accessing data.
Th Google stadia platform comes handy to people of different nations considering the current state of the pandemic which had left millions locked away from their daily activities in a way to further enhance social distancing as a way of buying time while scientists and doctors find treatments and vaccines for the coronavirus respiratory illness.
Google said earlier in April it would give two months of free access to Stadia Pro. The week announcement saw the surge in weekly installs of the platform since its November launch reaching 225,000 globally across the App Store and Google Play.
