Both Europe and the US will now be getting the Toyota Supra 2.0 which is presented as the 2021 model, The new Supra 2.0 is a turbo-four engine sport car which the company positioned in the entry-level of it’s sports car lineup.
The new Supra 2.0 features the same turbocharged 2.0 liter inline-four engine which was also in the BMW cars. The car will be getting a 295 pound-feet of torque and paired up with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
According to the Japanese automaker, the Supra 2.0 will hit a high performance of 60 MPH in just 5.0 seconds which will put the car right after the faster Supra 3.0 which hits that speed at 3.9 seconds.
The 2.0 will hit the same 155-mph top speed as the 3.0, and Toyota says its fuel economy will be better, but not by how much. Although this car is called “Entry level”, it offers an interesting performance which is super interesting and places the car at a whole new level.

Another interesting thing to know is that the SUpra 2.0 weighs 3,181 pounds, which is 219 pounds less than the six-cylinder and should make it feel a little nimbler.

Toyota is able to balance the weight of the car in a 50:50 weight distribution by letting go of the Supra 3.0’s active differential and adaptive suspension. The car also features a smaller front brake rotor with Single-Piston calipers rather than four-piston. The seats and a four speaker standard system all feels great.
Another specification the car will be getting is an optional 8.8-inch infotainment touchscreen which will be the standard display for the car. There is also a new Safety and Technology system which bundles for better experience offering features such as the Adaptive cruise control system, navigation system, wireless Apple CarPlay, 12-Speaker sound system and parking sensors.
Mere looking at the Supra 2.0, there is barely any noticeable difference between it and the 3.0 just the smaller 18-Inch wheels is what tells them apart visually.
Toyota has even updated a Six cylinder Supra for 2021 as well which will get more power and an A91 special edition that’ll be painted in Blue color. Both 2021 Supras will land at dealers in the US in June, with pricing to be announced closer to that launch.
