When Yahoo! stakeholders began getting tired of the company’s decline in the market, its new way of probably getting itself back up might be its new addition to its mail features. As the strategic plan ensues, the email provider is likely to make it to the top where it ones was. Part of that innovative features include adding files from Google Drive and in fact adding Tumblt GIFs are excellent.
Well rivals like GMAIL had included such features like Google Drive integration and DropBox as far back as May 2014 and 2015 right in its Android platform. The upgrade shows Yahoo trying to meet up with other providers as it seek to add even more.
Access to Drive along with a few OS-specific minor improvements is the latest in a chain of feature additions to Mail since Yahoo launched their new version of the app last Fall. Automatically adding your last tweet to the footer of your email is odd, but the other features are solid. Yahoo added Gmail to the slew of email services Mail can manage back in December, opened up customizationfor the app’s swipe interface in January, added link previews last month, and just last week announced a partnership with Dropbox.
The case of GIFs is an actual feature which catches attentions more. Being able to allow the new trend flow into its email system is cool too. So in anyway it helps, you won’t be needing to exit or copy-paste GIF files in your email no more. The Mail update is live on Android and should be landing soon on iOS.
