Earlier this year during the CES 2021 event held virtually, Korean tech company LG unveiled its plans to release its rollable phone which is far different technology compared to the foldable smartphones from the likes of Samsung and Huawei.

While there have been some conflicting news about the release of the device, the company has now confirmed that it will be releasing the rollable device this year and the device has been spotted on Bluetooth SIG which shows that the official release date could be around the corner.

Getting a Bluetooth SIG certification might just be the first step to the release or debut of the device later on this year and the LG rollable device is spotted to have the model number LM-R910N and its called LG Rollable.

Moreover, the certification mentions that the device is an “End Product”. This leads us to believe that the device is all set to launch in the coming months.

Earlier leaks have said that the LG Rollable could launch in June. It is tipped that the phone was supposed to be launched in March but it has been postponed to June. The device has already been registered in South Korea’s carrier intranet database. It also revealed the same model number of LM-R910N.

The device is rumored to feature a 7.4-inch rollable display and its likely to work in different aspect ratioswhich might include 2428 x 1080 pixel resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio.

Then there could be a wider 2428 x 1366 pixel resolution with 16:9 aspect ratio as well as a productivity mode which could have 2428 x 1600 pixel resolution and a 3:2 aspect ratio.

But that aside, other rumored specifications/features to expect from the LG Rollable includes a flagship-grade 16GB of RAM and could be powered by the high-end Snapdragon 888 chipset and a moderate 4,200mAh battery.

We expect the company to start teasing its upcoming device in a couple of months as the LG Rollable it tipped to launch in June. However, there is no official confirmation on the launch date.
